The new (and improved) KPC Tee Press Proof just arrived from Jakprints and we nailed it. Everything came out exactly as I had envisioned - so glad we decided to move to the triblend heather tee and the logo placement is much better.
For this proof, I had decided to change all white to an off-white (pantone 607), which is the only thing I'm unsure of - contemplating just going back to white, but I'm gonna sleep on it. Either way, we're super close!
I AM GOING TO START TAKING PRE-ORDERS ONLINE SHORTLY
We're only having 72 of these printed up - they'll be sold leading up to and during the KPC vs NY Islander Alumni Hockey Game on April 15th while supplies last. All profits go to the Frank J Rizzo V Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Sarah Grace Foundation. Support two great causes and look good doing it.

This dish isn't winning any presentation awards or style points, but damn it tastes good.
I got the idea to start cooking Segedin Goulash from my late Grandmother Omi, who was a always cooking these really great authentic Austrian dishes. This being our first Christmas without her, my cousins and I decided to all pitch in and take a shot at putting together our own authentic Austrian dinner in honor of our Omi.

We're putting together an email list to help keep everyone informed of the upcoming KPC/Islanders Alumni Game.
Last year we raised over $12,000 for two great causes: The Sarah Grace Foundation and the Frank J Rizzo V Memorial Scholarship Fund, and we're hoping to do better this year.
The game sold out pretty quick last April, so get on the list and know as soon as tickets are available.

The press proof has arrived! Unfortunately, it's pretty far off the mark.
The garment itself (Canvas Brand "Sunset Vintage") is pretty awesome - it's got a great worn look to it, very soft, just what I was looking for...but it's a bit too dark - I don't like how it's working against the maroon. I also think I like the heather blend tees for this instead of solid color, so we're switching to Canvas Brand Howard Tri Blend Tee and a lighter, heather gray.
The vendor also printed the graphic way too big and low on the shirt, so we're reducing the size and bringing it higher up on the chest...click to read the full entry >>
Moved to a new blog format today, which will make it easier for me to update I'm hoping. The goal is to force learn Wordpress and eventually move this blog there, but in the interim, I'll still need to jump into Dreamweaver when I need to update. My photo entries will go up on Flickr now, which will make it much easier for me to share that stuff.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and if anyone has some good Wordpress advice for a designer who spends most of his time in Dreamweaver "design" mode, let me know.
This vintage KPC Hockey tee will be available for sale leading up to and during the 2012 KPC v. NY Islanders Alumni Hockey Game. Proceeds go to benefit the Frank J Rizzo V Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Sarah Grace Foundation.
Shirts will be printed on Canvas brand “Sunset Vintage” tees. The press proof should be ready on 12/15 – very excited to see how these turn out!
